It sounds vulgar; like something you’d find in a relative’s house after they have passed. It gives you a horrible, horrible window into a part of their life you thought they couldn’t possibly have. Maybe it is something like that. Maybe it’s a word that popped into the English language in the 15th century. Maybe it’s a hobby horse. Why not call the band Hobby Horse?
